感覺每年語言學題目的變化都很大，感覺要對兩本參考書從頭到尾都很好地掌握（比如今年考到了歷史語言學的東西）
一、語言學家和理論連線：（10分） Peirce, Labov, Chomsky, Panini, Grice semiotics, language in society, formal language theory, grammar of Sanskrit, conversational implicature
二、分析What should time elapse? 這句話為什么不合語法（15分）
三、舉例說明什么是semantic anomaly （15分）
四、給了一列表格，左列是加拿大英語里的語音變體，右列是加拿大英語、美國英語中共同的發音，如： [?u] [au] lout loud (a) house houses 分析[?u]和[au]是phonemes還是allophones，并說明如何區別兩者（20分）
五、What’s the meaning type of the two sentences? （10分） (a) The speaker stands at the utterance place in the utterance time, and he is not able to do otherwise. (b) I have studied the bible carefully. My conscience is clear.
六、分析下列這句話中劃線部分哪些是constituents，哪些不是？ （15分） (a) Many retired workers spend their time on relaxing hobbies. (b) Many retired workers spend their time on relaxing hobbies. (c) Many retired workers spend their time on relaxing hobbies.
七、給了British English和American English中不同單詞的讀音，如car, cola, door, draw等 （25分） (a) 假設有一個Proto-English，分析這兩個dialects哪個是diverged from the Proto-English的 (b) 請用standard notation舉出一個sound change (c) 評價”American English is a degraded form of British English.”這句話
八、如果你想知道橄欖球規則，可以找一個人幫你解釋，如果你想知道語言規則，也可以找人幫你解釋。（25分） (a) 分析這句話為什么錯 (b) linguists是如何解釋the rules of system的
九、Does linguistics tell people how to speak or write properly? （15分）
